Painted this spring, Owl Rock watches over the barn in a way that makes us wonder what the people thought long ago when they encountered this rock. At least I think of that question when I look at it. I imagine the Indians of the area had some interesting spiritual meaning attached to the rock. Now, it is appreciated by the owners of this barn!On the way to Squilchuck State Park, going toward Mission Ridge, if you stop in just the right place you can see the rock from the road. If you do not stop in the right place you will miss it!
